Mavericks Easter 13 - 16 Camp

What a week this was, although the numbers were not overwhelming the players worked their socks off and improved their skills loads under the strict and friendly eye of Jo Munnion as she shared some of her England and Mavericks Youth tips with the young players.

The usual elements of a Mavericks camp were present with lots of matches of killer (although the results were a little too biased towards a certain Jess for the coaches). There were a few new games and bits of equipment tested out including the new rockets which left parents ducking all over the place on the balcony... yes, on the balcony!

This camp saw players travel from all over the east region and a few complaints about the holiday system mucking up events like this later, everybody was having lots of netball fun and working extremely hard.

A couple of Mavericks helpers appeared to rally the troops as Laura O'Mahoney (also trialing for English Handball) and Josie Huckle (recently qualified for the England Talent 2 Squad) helped out with tips and activties.
