Netball Superleague squad announces major sponsorship deal

2nd February 2008 Mavericks NSL Squad announced that it has signed a major sponsorship deal with the galleria designer shopping outlet in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.

As the main sponsor, the galleria branding will appear on the team kit, home court and perimeter boards, match programmes and all squad literature.

Mavericks is a Netball Superleague franchise based in the East Region but its players come from a variety of areas. The squad was established in 2005 when the Netball SuperLeague competition began. Over the last two seasons Mavericks have successfully come runners-up in the NSL.

This season Mavericks has international stars such as Naomi Siddall (Mavericks Captain), Amanda Newton (Mavericks Vice-Captain & England Captain) as well as Karen Atkinson ( England Vice-Captain) and Louisa Brownfield ( England ).

There are also a host of young England Talent players throughout both squads. Mavericks train and have their home matches at the University of Hertfordshire, Hertfordshire Sports Village, Hatfield.
