Good Luck to England Open Europe Squad

Mavericks wish the young England Open Squad well as they go into the Netball Europe Championships in Glasgow next weekend. Mavericks shooter, Monique Wood will be competing for her country against the home countries national squads.

Maggie Jackson will also be up there observing the matches in her National Selectors role and Amanda Newton; England Captain but not involved in this competition will be there supporting and encouraging the young squad.

Maverick coaches and physio; Kendra Slawinski, Jo Munnion and Helene Hall and Tammy Tang will be busy next weekend coaching in Sheffield with their Under 19 and Under 17 squads as they prepare them for their Netball Europe competitions in March. Maverick players; Paula Gant, Abi Ryan, Zoe Murdoch and Sophie Candappa are all part of these squads.

We wish all these players a great weekend before they return for match duty against Loughborough on Monday Feb 26th.
