Media Attention on Mavericks
2nd April 2008

Last week radio and this week TV as the whole country sits up and takes notice of NSL.

BBC Look East made a trip to the Mavericks technical session this Tuesday and took a look at what it takes to make it to the final. The SuperLeague gives coaches different pressures as the better you get, the more time you have to spend with media cameras and reporters! Maggie Jacksons experience means that she is able to cope with these demands and make sure that the netball session is covered as well as keeping the public, media and supporters happy.
Compliments to BBC Look East for making the netball look great as sometimes filming the game can steal the action... Take a look at the BBC Look East article now: BBC Look East - Netball Title High Hopes

Maggie has been making appearances on radio stations including her old home county's BBC Radio Essex. Netball is huge across Essex and there are a few players from that area who feature heavily in the Mavericks squad so it is no surprise that they keep a keen eye on the NSL. At the present time Louisa Brownfield, Monique Wood and Gemma Wiseman are all from this area as well as numeruos youth players and other squad members. The SKY Sports crew with Televideo will be attending the last training session before the match on Thursday evening as the Final Match Programme will include pieces on each of the title chasing teams. Once again, the players will make sure that they look their best when working extremely hard!

Keep you eyes open for Mavericks on TV and Radio and if there are things we don't hear about, let us know!
