Squad Changes

Prior to the last seven Super League matches franchises the transfer window was open! The rules and regulations of the competition state that both the franchise where the player is registered and the player involved have to formally agree with the receiving franchise to the move.

There has therefore been some changes in the Mavericks Senior Squad.

Claire Higham, who has been part of the squad for three years has made a decision to focus on competing for her premier Club New Cambell. Claire has been a solid member of the franchise and has been part of the 12 for all three seasons. All members of the franchise will miss her but wish her well in her future netballing career.

Chioma Matthews (formerly Ezeogu) made the decision to return to her former Super league side, Brunel Hurricanes in January. Mavericks enjoyed having her as part of the 12 for the first part of this season and wish her well at Brunel in the second half of the season.
