National Screening
10th April 2010

On Tuesday April 6th several Mavericks players were involved in the England Under 17 and 19 screening in Sheffield. Maggie Jackson (National Selector) was involved and with so much talent on show this was a difficult role.

Congratulations to the Mavericks Youth players: Loran Wyatt, Shaunagh Craig, Alice Ewer, Sophia Candappa and Danielle McFarlane who are in the Under 19 Long Squad.
         

And Danielle Stigwood is in the Under 17 Long Squad

Also congratulations to another East Region player Kristy Simpson who was also selected for the Under 19 Long Squad. (Sorry no picture yet!)

Loran was also presented East-of-England SportsAid Athlete of the Month for March 2010 recently, well done.

Additional congratulations goes to Alice Ewer and Sophia Candappa who have been invited to represent England on tour to Australia in July.
