Getting to the final every year since Superleague started is a massive achievement but obviously winning the NSL is the ultimate goal! This takes a huge amount of commitment on and off the court. We are now looking towards season 2010/11 and recruiting players and volunteers to be part of our special franchise, so if you think you have what it takes to be a Maverick then get in touch...

Volunteer Roles

Firstly, even if you don't see a role that fits your skills... get in touch anyway! We are always happy to get more people involved and can find something that you will enjoy. Secondly, we have a number of specific roles that we are looking to fill in order to strengthen our group and allow the development and progression that we know Mavericks is capable of.

Staff Applications

Currently Mavericks has a policy that every year all coaching and managing positions are up for open applications. We pride ourselves on having a transparent system where anyone can apply. Positions are filled according to these appilcations. There is no doubt that that the staff rank as some of the most hard working people involved in any franchise and these opportuntities offer staff the chance to work with some of the most talented players in the country.

If you think you have what it takes to train and compete at this level, then get your application form in now. Mavericks boasts a fantastic track record and is commited to developing its players. All applications must be recieved by 24th August and trials will take place on 23rd September 8pm-10pm and 30th September 7.30pm-9.30pm [PLEASE NOTE THIS HAS CHANGED FROM THE ORIGINAL DATES AND THOSE SHOWN ON THE APPLICATION FORM] at the Hertfordshire Sports Village.

Alternatively if you would like a form posted out the old fashioned way, then send a stamp addressed envelope and a note letting us know which applications you would like to: Mavericks, Room 253, St. Loyes House, 20 St. Loyes Street, Bedford, MK40 1ZL. The appointment process: All applications are reviewed by the Mavericks Management Group. All forms must be submitted by the due dates and times to Gloria Keech. Candidates may be contacted for a telephone or face to face interview. Candidates will be informed by telephone by the times and dates stated. All positions are subject to CRB checks.
