Mavericks is a Netball Superleague franchise based in the East Region but its players come from a variety of areas including London. The squad was established in 2005 when the Netball SuperLeague competition began.

In 2008/9 Mavericks is proud to have long standing Mavericks international stars such as Karen Atkinson (Captain) and Louisa Brownfield (Vice Captain) and Naida Hutchinson.
There are also a host of young England players throughout both squads as well as many England Talent players.
In 2007/8 Mavericks Youth came Runners-Up in The Netball Talent League.

Mavericks also have an amazing coaching team this season including Maggie Jackson as Coaching Director, Kendra Slawinski OBE as Mavericks Head Coach, Jo Munnion (England U19 Coach) as Mavericks Youth Head Coach and Sam Bird as Mavericks Youth Assistant Coach.

Mavericks are supported by a host of companies and businesses including the galleria which is found across the road from our home venue. We appreciate all of the support that we receive from our personal and business sponsors... thanks!

Netball is currently not an Olympic sport however it is in the Commonwealth Games. There is a growing movement to support the introduction of Netball into the Olympics so, Back the Bid!

	Tammy & Dave Boehmer 29th May 2009 Tammy, the Physio of the Senior Squad for the last four years got married to Dave on Saturday 30 th May at the Dunchurch Park Hotel in Rugby. Kendra, Maggie, Karen, Gloria and Jim joined friends and relatives for the evening celebrations. A lot of fun dancing to a band singing Abba and Motown hits. Read more
	End of Season Do! 31st May 2009 Well, the sun certainly shined this year! Although our stunning bunch of players all came dressed to impress they were also sensible enough to bring bikinis and get in the pool when the food and presentations were over.
