Sasha Corbin & Lindsay Keable Re-Sign To benecosMavericks for the 2019 VNSL Season

Captain Corbin and Vice Captain Keable return for another year in the Black and Purple

benecosMavericks is delighted to share that Sasha Corbin and Lindsay Keable have re-signed for the 2019 Vitality Netball League Season and will again lead this team as Captain and Vice Captain respectively.     

Sasha Corbin a long time favourite with the benecosMavericks fans, returned to the club last season and will shortly be heading out to New Zealand for the with the England Roses squad for the Quad Series and then onto Jamaica for the Series against the Sunshine Girls.

Sasha Corbin had this to say about the new season with benecosMavericks:”Hey Mavs family, I’m thrilled to have signed for another season and am really looking forward to building on from where we left off and seeing what we can create as a team in 2019.”

Lindsay Keable will be entering her 10th season with benecosMavericks and has long been key to the defensive strength benecosMavericks is known for.  She is definitely excited for another season: “2019 marks my 10th season playing for benecosMavericks, nine as a senior and one as a youth player.  I am so honoured to be playing in the purple dress for another season.  I truly believe this year’s line-up is a league winning combination and I cannot wait to get started.  The hard works starts now!” 

Kathryn Ratnapala, Mavericks Director of Nebtall is delighted to have signed both of these leaders: 

“We’ve been working hard to assemble a team that we believe can take us all the way this year.  I’ve been eager to share this team with you all and am delighted to start with our Captain and Vice Captain.”

benecosMavericks are delighted to be welcoming Sasha and Lindsay back onto the playing roster. Further squad announcements will be made over the coming weeks and details of 2019 ticket sales will be released soon along with details of some exciting pre-season friendlies.
